After becoming the first Italian disabled person to complete the Dakar in South America, he is ready to try to make his mark even on the same roads as the African race: “What is interesting for us is the challenge”.
A new challenge, whatever the cost. Gian Luca Tassi is like that. It was not enough for the Dakar 2017, after which he remained in the hospital blocked by an infection that was costing his life, for a good seven months. That goal in Buenos Aires, on a Ford Raptor of the R Team, for Gian Luca, Massimiliano Catarsi and Alessandro Brufola Casotto, the three of the crew, had meant a lot, indeed a lot: the first Italian disabled to have ever completed the Dakar.
